Centre for South Asian Legal Studies
The centre for South Asian Legal Studies of Geeta Institute of law is paramount pace towards the research arena. This centre has been established with an aim to fabricate a resource centre for students and researchers and to coordinate and promote events pertaining to South Asian legal studies and to facilitate intellectual exchange between faculty and students with shared interests in the field.
The retaliative interests of the Centre include international law, comparative law, constitutional law, human rights law, environmental law, women’s studies, legal education and legal profession.
The GIL Centre pitch on to conduct a variety of activities such as organizing conferences, lectures/talks, performances and screenings with a multidisciplinary approach in order to open the door for intellectual exchange of interests.
The centre is working under the guidance of Dr. Dharminder Patial and faculty co-ordinators.
